As a therapist and clinical social worker, I help people understand and process areas of hardship in their lives.  Whether you are struggling with trauma, depression or anxiety, marital conflict or undergoing a stressful life change, I will support you in exploring your story, setting goals, and developing healthy coping skills.  

It is my priority as your therapist to create an attentive and reflective environment where you feel safe and respected. I can help you gain more insight about your situation so you can increase your confidence, peace and happiness in your life. My style is interactive and engaging.

I have been a social worker since 2005 and have experience working with children, teens and families, mostly within the child welfare system and the hospital setting.  It was in these sectors that I had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of clients and patients and respond to their trauma, grief and loss, and their physical and mental health concerns with empathy, efficiency and direction.  

 

My education is in sociology with a Masters in Social Work.  

 

Finding balance in life is important to me.  When I am not working, I love to travel and experience different cultures, spend time outdoors, bake and decorate cookies, and socialize with family and friends.
